25TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
WEEKEND OF 2nd AND 3rd JULY 2005
This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Auckland Community Church. Though taking its current form in 1980, as a Christian community that arose from a study group meeting in St Matthew-in-the-City in 1974 - so it is very appropriate our celebrations coincide with the Centenary celebrations of the St Matthew’s church building.
OUTLINE OF EVENTS
- Saturday 2nd July
- 4:00 pm A public forum with guest speakers.
Presenting reflections on gay-lesbian-bi-trans theology and life in the church – 25 years on.

5:00 pm Social hour

6:00 pm Anniversary Dinner
This will be a catered meal – cost to be confirmed.
For catering purposes we will require confirmed numbers.
- The Saturday events are being held at :
The Community of Saint Luke
130 Remuera Road,
Remuera
- Sunday 3rd July
- 10:00 am Joint service with St Matthew-in-the-city.
An invitation has been extended to join with the St Matthew’s morning congregation to celebrate in worship.

7:30 pm Anniversary Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration
This will be our focus for worship and praise, giving thanks for the life of the community and those that have been part of it.
