Queer Christianity in New Zealand
Metropolitan Community Church:
Metropolitan Community Church is a member of the International Fellowship founded by Rev Troy Perry. The Community in Auckland meets for worship every Sunday at 7pm on Sunday evenings at The Friends Centre (Quakers Meeting House) 113 Mt Eden Road, Mt Eden (which is at the corner of Mt Eden Road and Sylvan Avenue). Their Pastor is Rev Leigh Neighbour.
Ascent:
Ascent is a community of Catholics who are gay. They meet at St Benedict's Church, Newton, at 7.30 pm every few months. Phone Terry for service times (phone 634 9338)
